Yeaji is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Political Science at the University of Houston. She currently holds a Ph.D. in Political Science, from the University of Houston, an M.A. in Political Science from the Ewha Womans University, and a B.A. in Political Science and Computer Science from the Sungshin Women’s University.

Yeaji’s research agenda includes democratization, political participation, political culture, Time Series, and Bayesian Analysis. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Research & Politics and Statistics, Politics and Policy.

Her teaching interests focus on Comparative Politics with regional expertise in East Asia, Research Design, and various Quantitative Methods. She has extensive teaching experience in courses including POLS 1336 U.S. and Texas Constitutions and Politics, POLS 3316 Statistics for Political Scientists, and GLST 1326 Survey of East Asia.
